I can’t believe it!!! I FINALLY got the 4-1-1 on eyelash extensions as well as the LuxLash experience. I am SNOBsessed with beauty treatments and have been so curious about eyelash extensions for so long and now all my questions have been answered. And YES.....I L-O-V-E my new Bad Boys!

When it comes to beauty, makeup application, products, and services Women are always looking for ways to play up the eyes. We spend hundreds of dollars a year on the “Must Have” mascaras to lengthen, darken, and thicken our lashes. And I’m guilty as well! Till NOW...

For months I kept hearing about this new spa in Beverly Hills called LuxLash. Finally it got to the point when I was like....I have to go to this place and see what all the Buzz is about. LuxLash originally opened its doors in Boston, back in 2006; and due to its popularity and the need out on the West Coast LuxLash opened their Beverly Hills location in January of 2009. But the sky is the limit for this HOT salon, so look for many more locations to pop up in 2010, starting with Las Vegas.

There are so many options for eyelash extensions but LuxLash has been so successful because of their business motto and the way they treat their customers. Although I have a lot of lashes, I myself have VERY light eyelashes and every morning I do all I can to make them stand out. I knew I was going to be a perfect candidate for eyelash extensions. First of all...what are eyelash extensions, you ask? Well...they are a semi-permanent single strand of lightweight synthetic eyelashes that look identical to a natural lash that are applied one lash at a time to your own lashes, for a soft, natural, and elegant thick-lashed look. Depending on how you take care of your lashes and your natural lash growth, the lashes on average should last typically for about 2 months. Once you get a full set applied you will want to go in for maintenance to have any lost lashes filled in.

When I arrived to receive my new lashes I was rest assured to learn that I was going to get the full knowledge on how to take care of my new lashes. I looked at the lash menu and decided to go with the Bad Boys with a lash piercing. Depending on how dramatic or natural you want to go with your look, there is something for EVERYONE. And I learned that EVERYONE is the perfect candidate for eyelash extensions. Girls that have full and dark lashes are always in love with their lashes so a little pump-up would just enhance what they already love, girls that have light lashes (like myself) would love to have dark full lashes, and girls that have short lashes would give an arm to have long lashes the 1st thing in the morning. I am a bit on the dramatic side, so my choice was easy with the Bad Boys, which are VERY long and full. As for the eye piercing...that is a very small rhinestone that is adhered to the outer corners of the lashes that is not noticeable when you look at me straight ahead, but when the light hits me juuuuust right it makes for a little twinkle in my eye. The eye piercing come in a variety of colors, and my choice was to go with the basic clear stone....and I LOVE it!

Once I was done I looked in the mirror and almost died. My lashes were long, full, and dark. I had lash envy of myself! And since I got them put on I have not had one problem. The procedure took 90 minutes and was completely painless. Now to maintain my luscious lashes I basically just have to be aware of them, yet I don’t really do anything different. Of course I don’t rub my eyes, but I can shower and wash my face as normal, and best of all....I don’t have to wear mascara AT ALL. Visiting LuxLash was probably one of the best beauty visit’s I made in 2009 and I am now a client for LIFE.
