So as we’ve mentioned in a past Trend Of The Week feature that Plaid is HOT this season. In our past Plaid feature we showed you shoes, jackets, top, and many other Plaid “Must Haves”. But the Plaid spectrum this season is SO huge and Plaid Flannels needed its own focus, and that is why Flannels is our Trend Of The Week...this week.

For fashion inspiration, styling, and just because I like to know what is going on and selling in stores I often walk malls and shops across LA, and last week I was doing just that. I was getting so excited about all the colors and patterns of Plaid Flannels I was seeing and all the fun looks that can achieve by wearing the HOT trend. I had a quick throwback to 8th grade when I wore Flannels and listen to Nirvana, but that quickly went away.

The Flannels of today can be paired with so many other HOT trends for the season to make the perfect Fall ensemble for both day and night. For night take a tip from the “Rock n’ Roll” Fall inspired designs and pair your Flannel with Studded Jeans, Tie-Dye Jeans, and Leather Skirts or Pants. Finish the look with multi chain necklaces and booties...DONE.

For day, really anything goes. Flannels make great layering pieces and I love to layer contrasting colored tanks under them as well as layer vests, bomber jackets, and leather jackets over. Basically just add fun Plaid Flannels into your everyday looks to update them for a fresh Fall Look!
